The needessentials 6mm Liquid Taped Thermal Mitts are designed for maximum warmth, flexibility and durability for extremely cold waters. They feature premium 4-way mega stretch 6mm limestone-based neoprene through the whole mitt. Seams are glued, blind stitched, internally taped then liquid sealed for extra strength, function and durability. The aggregated non-slip palms assist gripping surfboard rails during duck dives and takeoffs.

Dorky warm perfection -- watch the sizing

I love these. They don't get used a lot in tassie and get a few comments. Buggered if i know why not -- they are great. Have used in water down to 9C and my hands stay warm for hours. Compare that to 3 mm gloves where within 20 mins the lack of blood and sensation ruins your dexterity anyway and yeah super sold! Also like that they come a good amount up the arm -- covers a watch and laps well with wettie to reduce flushing. The lining holds up well and combined with ease of turning them inside out they dry well. Durability wise they're similar to other brands of mitts i've had.

Sizing: IMO runs a FULL size small so buy larger than your 3 mm gloves.
