​The needessentials 6mm Boot is designed for maximum warmth, flexiblity and durability in extremely cold water. Featuring premium 4-way mega stretch rapid dry thermal-lined 6mm limestone based neoprene through the whole boot. All seams are fully sealed featuring glued, blind stitched and taped seams for extra strength, function and durability. Aggregated non-slip sole adds durability and function. The adjuster strap allows for the tight fit for minimal movement.

These are the toastiest warm, most comfy, and best value for money booties going, no doubt about it! Super stoked with my purchase, will be surfing all through the NZ winter with pleasure! Size guide was accurate, I love the simple, no frills, straight to the point design (pun may be intended)

Warm and affordable!

Thick, warm and work as intended! I bought these over a year ago and they have been really good! I've worn them for 2 Victorian winters can definitely say they are great value!
A couple of small downsides, but I think it's mostly down to me and my technique used to get them on and off.

The back of the boot above the ankle has torn in 2 spots on both boots from stretching them around the heel getting them on and off.
I wish they had an additional Velcro strap to help seal the top of the boot. I'm a tall guy (6'4") and my wetsuit tends to ride up my shins a bit, exposing the top of the boots. Heavier wipeouts tend to force water down into my boots, which without a Velcro strap to tighten the seal, ends up as a cold,water-balloon experience on my feet.
