The needessentials hand foiled fibreglass 9” Single Whale Fin is an upright fin that has been designed to give single fins more pivot through turns. It can be surfed with smaller side bite fins for extra drive and hold or as a single to make it more responsive to up and down turns. Use in a variety of boards from single fins, mid lengths and bonzas.
Individually hand foiled fibreglass fins are superior to moulded fins as they provide far more speed, drive and hold due to the increased rigidity of the flex pattern.
The 9” Single Whale Fin’s rigid flex-pattern and solid base provides speed and drive, Its upright plain shape makes the fin better for sharp turns in hollower waves and gives your board a controlled feel when under speed.
