Solid in Canadian Winter

In my third winter season with my 6/4/3 and it is still going great. Good to go for 90 mins or more at 0 degree Canadian water and -15 weather and wind. Don’t think there is a single crack in the seams. My 4/3 has also held up for 3 years. I’m onboard for life now - thanks so much Needs!

Excellent hard wearing warm suit.

Love my hooded 6-4-3 suit. I haven't owned a suit that has lasted so well. I windsurf as well as surf, and the harness can make the neoprene bobble, but not with this suit. The stitching is perfect after 2 years and I feel that the suit is still as warm as when I purchased it. Maybe lets a tiny bit more water in, but so much better than a more expensive make of wetsuit that claims to be the fastest drying, which was also the fastest to become stretchy, cold and worn out! Would totally recommend Needessentials.

Really is the best

We've had a brutally cold but somewhat wavy winter here in the Northeast USA with predominantly strong offshore winds and with water temps around 38° (3° c ) my 5mm name brand suits have not been up to the task. I hesitated to go 6mm since I didn't want to sacrifice performance and I honestly hate getting into and out of winter suits. I just peeled off my NEED Essentials 6mm (easily!) for the first time and it's far and away the best suit I've ever owned in 26 years of winter surfing, toasty warm and for hundreds $ less. Thanks!

Warm and Toasty

Love these wetsuits - great for those inconsistent days in the depths of winter, or when surfing with my kids and they steal all my waves.

Well made suit

Undeniably well built wetsuit! Can confirm fits the same as the 4/3 — have both in medium tall. All a bit short in the limbs for me! But I’m pretty lanky. Bought mostly for skin diving but also had a four hour surf in 10 C water recently. Super toasty :)
