The needessentials 60L Expedition Pack is designed using the highest-quality materials, components and manufacturing to carry all the essentials for long-range expeditions. The large main compartment unzips 'sandwich style' to allow access to the multiple internal compression pockets. The heavy duty ripstop exterior will keep your gear from mist and moisture plus the rain cover is easily accessible from its stow pocket at the base of the pack if there's a heavy downpour. The harness and padded back panel and shoulder straps are adjustable to aid weight distribution.

Perfect!

I've been backpacking throughout SE Asia since '96, first with a Tatonka backpack then onto a Mountain Designs and have finally needed an upgrade. I have spent literally hours and hours looking online for a backpack that zips open just as my earlier packs did and could find nothing. All I ever wanted was a pack that gave me access to all my stuff instantly without having to unpack layer after layer which is time consuming and dumb. By some happy chance a few weeks ago a mate showed me the Need Essentials bags and I was blown away. I have just got mine delivered and am blown away.

There's no other backpack on the market anywhere that has a sandwich style main compartment that unzips allowing you access to all the space you need. Here you will find internal pocketing and elasticated compression straps to keep everything snugly in place, as well as multiple compression pockets. In the product description you will find every other design feature making this an extremely well designed backpack, no bells or whistles, just perfection in sheer simplicity without compromising quality or strength. I'm so stoked I've found this pack it rocks!

Best bag ever

This bag is so good I got 2. Took the first to Indo on a surf trip and honestly never had a bag like it. Phenomenal! Got 2 for my trip with my wife to South Island New Zealand!
